Speaker 0 00:00:00 <inaudible> stick together. So welcome. We're on week eight of our podcasts now. So yeah, it's going really quick. I think isn't it. And again, you've got me, Harry, to me, Beth, and today we're talking about the pet industry as a whole, not just pet pharma or pet tech, it's a whole industry because there's various different areas that we want to talk about and different solutions that are suitable for different areas. But first we've been inundated with questions this week, which is fantastic. The podcast views are ramping up. So thank you to everyone that sends a question in. Actually it just listens. Well, thank you, sir. True. That's true.
Speaker 0 00:00:42 So, anyway, yeah. Best game to ask the question and we'll see if we can answer it. <inaudible> so this week's question is strike coating or is coating, where would I use it? Why is it good? So, yeah, basically strike coating is when we control where we're putting the ideas on the table label. Okay. Exactly. And there's various advantages to it for certain solutions on our food delivery labels that we supplied. We put a finger lift on them because then it means that the people packing the bags in the restaurants don't need to touch it. Any ideas of, so obviously for hygiene purposes, it's just a bit more friendly basically. And obviously that, well, most of the time they'll be wearing gloves or they should be and lift as well. And it was set to the glove, which is securities, if that's the point in it. Yes.
Speaker 0 00:01:31 So basically obviously if you all these into a glove and they pour the labor, when you void on your finger or might rip your glove. And so, yeah, we've striped coat the edges. So basically it's really quick and easy to pull off the liner and then you can quickly and easily stick it to your bag. And again, the customer can quickly and easily pull it off. So the DC of glue is, is the Stripe coating bit. Yeah, absolutely. So we're leaving the edges blank week. We can control it to have many millimeters you want, uh, either side is, yeah. Again, it's completely customized. So on one hand, you've got it like for the food delivery labels to help speed up the process in the restaurants. And then on the other hand, we do it a lot in the pharma world for test your labels COVID example.
Speaker 0 00:02:12 So you've got a permanent label that would go over a test. You, you don't want glue over the top of it, just on the side. So we play well, because when you then pull the label off, you don't want to glue or stuck around the opening talent test. So yeah, we just leave the center portion of the dumbbell. We have no glue and we just put glue on the edges. Right. And then, so where the glue is, that's where you get your void message and where there's no glue, there's no void passage. So it's completely clean for the test shoot or whatever is inside any contamination. So it could go over the drinks as well then. Yeah, absolutely. So the security ceiling of like drinks in the food delivery world is coming into its own now. And we've done some great designs where the there's just glue where it actually the sides of the cup, but the label goes over the top of the lid and everything. Obviously we don't want any through there over the mouse piece. So we keep that a bit like the Dunbar label and just put blue on the edge of that. It says drink open door. Yeah, yeah, absolutely. Yeah. And if it's coffee too hot, too hot. Yeah.
Speaker 0 00:03:20 So yeah, that's basically what Stripe coaching is. There's numerous different ways and whys about why I need to have it basically. Um, but yeah, try parenting as well with controlling where there, these have goes to give the user a different experience. So on the label you have no glue in the center. Yeah. The edge is all the Stripe. Yeah. But you could have more than one lane striped if you wanted to. It's completely customizable. So we can, we control the whole process. So if somebody has got a specific requirement where they need glue in this bit, no doing that bit of glue in this bit. So I'll also the time where we put security, cause not long residue labels or labels, then in the center, we put the security cuts. So if it's going over a drawer or a door, when the door is open, let the emergency emergency doors, that's a huge market that he seals and the label will just break into Sydney as well as the boy down the bed.
Speaker 0 00:04:12 So you've got a Juul layer of security and there, we don't put any glue. So it's a really nice, easy break. That was the first I saw this week. Wasn't it? It's the life jacket. That's right. Yeah. That's a security label with a Stripe code security, for example, where you've got a zip, so it's going over a zip zip area. Right. And then when they pulled us it, if you pause it hard, you can obviously you'll put tear the label where the security codes, so you can get into your life jacket. Yes. But at the same time, if someone's been in by, they shouldn't it'll turn the label, avoid the label. So you're not sort of disadvantages or causing a delay to someone gets in there, large get in. And most, I remember that being tested by the comment had to be, it's got to be opened by a six year old child and an eight year old woman, so that you've got to be able to have that little amount of strength must be able to get.
Speaker 0 00:05:01 So that's the area where we can leave the glue off to make sure that the security cut by just someone touching it with their foot or something. It's not so delicate. They'll just know, but on the pull of the zip, it will tab so they can get into it in an emergency. But again, it shows if someone's been into it and maybe tampered with the life jacket. Absolutely. Yeah. That's fascinating. Isn't it? The same technology is used in so many different places, us food delivery, life jacket on an aircraft. So your father, world's just amazing. That's cool. So that's, what's try printing is all about basis.
Speaker 0 00:05:34 I hope that answers that question. I think so the other thing then is if we get along to the pet from pet technology, pets, cosmetics, nutrients, what we discovered is obviously that the use of home delivery goods is still very popular. Um, and although we are talking about home delivery yeah. Still in the pet pharma market or the pet market, sorry. Yeah. It just how it is used within all those sectors. So I think it would be useful for people if you could just go through the different areas that are available and the different labels and technology that could suit these applications. Yeah. So I think to start with this all came from the sort of human pharmaceutical world where obviously there's huge demand for permanent labels to seal the pill boxes, the cartons, which we covered in a different podcast before. Uh, and then obviously it's not just humans, it's all animals. So basically we saw some of the pet product protection world. They say, if you start with pharma, obviously we've got all sort of Metacam for dogs or you've got buried, bucked, huge range of data. We found out didn't we, because obviously we aren't pet Agnes who will be snowing in the video now obviously.
Speaker 0 00:06:54 But we have, we had a very elderly dog who we had, um, arthritis, drug school. We have a very young dog who we had frozen pet food for. Yeah. We have yours, which is the Houdini house with the truck and you were webcam as well. So obviously we've had all these things that we've been aware of. If you don't have pets, you won't be, I don't know. It's a whole world basically. And yeah. So in terms of the pet pharma world, the need is the same as the sort of human pharma. Well, so yeah, you've got pet pharma where you've got to, again, seal the shrinkages or the tablets or anything like that. And then you've got the pet tech world we're calling it. So that's again like your webcams for your kitchens. Now, pet tech is a whole new world coming out of lockdown where have offices describing markets, you know? Well, cause obviously for it. Yeah. But most pets have had people with them. And uh, now they're just going to go home for four hours or whatever. Definitely has never been well managed. You know, when he was about a month old who sent us, that is not being on his own now it's not ideal situation.
Speaker 0 00:08:13 So you used to have a webcam, isn't a cupboard by these I say, go back to work. And basically obviously all this technology is quite expensive. Yeah. So yeah, the webcam comes in a box and he's a security navel on it to make sure it's a genuine product, not being swapped out, go mining 10. And you'll see a really good post about the PlayStation's been swapped out. It's exactly the same message. And again, in our video coming up next week, you'll see exactly the same message again. So that's why pet technology is a growing market because it's more things that are going to get swapped out in the supply chain for counterfeits. Yeah. So again, you've got the same baseline message, but just applied in a different situation. Obviously you have your tracker, but you've also tried this. Um, what, what does it a massage thing on his neck? Oh yeah. Well, it was supposed to get, is it like a vibration to stop him running away? If that hadn't been a genuine product and it zapped it. Yeah. As opposed to just massage isn't that gently, but you thought was left there and you don't train this out there and touch.
Speaker 0 00:09:17 So yeah, that's the technology world is definitely growing really fast. And again, you've got the pet food world. So now it's becoming a whole fashion range. You can have it named after your dog. You can have frozen to saying to breeze to buy it and they freeze it and they do this now. And we've got definitely the breeder was like, Oh yeah, she tried like polystyrene inside the box and she didn't like it, but there was some boxes and it was also yours. Wasn't it? Because obviously it's, it's valued. Good. And I laughed because actually it was more secure than your food delivery, but yeah, my aunt had lived to make it home. The boxes arrived half open and absolutely destroyed. Whereas the pet market seems to be looked at down trouble. Yeah. So basically this market has a lot of avenues to it, but obviously if you're into pets, then it's a great thing to get involved with.
Speaker 0 00:10:19 And it's a, quite a new sort of focus into the inner world. So hopefully you won't find that you're stepping on other businesses and you've got a kind of a clean entrance into that. Obviously a nice place to stop. So you've got, um, just to make it clear again, then we have the fresh food frozen and made to order. You've got your personalized food as an Avenue to go down as well. You've got the technology for the webcams, the trackers and all the other things that work on your smartphone. And then it will help scan within medicines, which winds and all the supplements. So you're covering it, cosmetics market, your farmer market, your packaging market. So I think, um, it's a, it's a good opportunity to look into. Yeah, definitely. And you have got a passion for pets. It can be a really interesting way to bring your tamper evident sales to life. Absolutely. Which is quite fun. And we do apologize. We haven't mentioned cats ones, but we only have dogs. So it's the same pet, the pet store. It's the same for same rule applies. Absolutely. The takeaway this week is that we can't train our dogs, but we can protect and temporary.
Speaker 0 00:11:38 So yeah, basically I think you've got the summary basically the next few weeks are all gonna be about pet protection. Uh, make sure you like us on the followers on LinkedIn for new information all the time and uh, yeah. Hopefully you enjoy the podcast and sending any more questions for next week, please. Thank you very much for your time this morning. See you later. Cheers. Bye.
